Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Initiates Accreditation Process with U.S. Council on Occupational Education (COE)

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training announced the commencement of academic accreditation procedures with the American Council on Occupational Education (COE), as part of its comprehensive strategy to enhance educational quality, develop national workforce competencies, and align graduate qualifications with evolving labor market demands.

Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of PAAET, stated in a press release on Monday: "This initiative follows the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, to elevate vocational education standards and achieve academic accreditation across all disciplines offered at our colleges and institutes in accordance with international standards and national development requirements."

About COE:
Dr. Al-Fajam explained that COE is a premier international body establishing accreditation standards for vocational education, working to enhance quality and grant accreditations to institutions offering specialized programs. "The Council has established rigorous accreditation standards and procedures to ensure educational institution quality and effectiveness," he added.

Previous Achievements:
The Director General noted that PAAET has already secured accreditation for several of its training institutes, calling this "a national achievement reflecting our commitment to program quality and reinforcing our position as a leading educational institution in the region."
