French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated on Sunday that the Israeli occupation government has decided to resume humanitarian aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip following three months of intensive diplomatic efforts.

In a post on the social media platform X, Barrot emphasized that this aid must be "immediate, large-scale, and unimpeded," stressing that the move aims to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation and prevent famine in the territory.

Barrot reiterated France's call for an immediate ceasefire and the release of detainees, noting that France continues to work toward a comprehensive political solution based on the two-state principle.
