The Minister of Higher Education stated: "The Arabian Gulf University is a shared academic edifice that embodies cooperation among Gulf countries..

His Excellency Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated on Wednesday that the Arabian Gulf University represents a joint academic institution that embodies the spirit of cooperation and integration among GCC member states, reflecting their unity of purpose and shared destiny.

During his speech at the 97th meeting of the Arabian Gulf University's Board of Trustees hosted by Kuwait, Minister Al-Jalal praised the efforts of the university's leadership, faculty, and administrative staff in enhancing academic performance and improving educational outcomes in line with global standards.

He emphasized Kuwait's commitment to supporting Gulf educational integration, strengthening research and academic cooperation, and expanding strategic partnerships among higher education institutions in GCC countries. These efforts contribute to building a sustainable knowledge society and achieving common development goals.

The minister commended the Board of Trustees' pivotal role in shaping university policies and approving educational programs to achieve excellence in higher education, expressing his pleasure at Kuwait hosting this meeting.

In his remarks, Dr. Omar Al-Rowas, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, appreciated Kuwait's efforts in supporting the university's mission and the patronage it receives from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Dr. Al-Rowas also acknowledged the contributions of Kuwait's Ministry of Higher Education, specifically thanking Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Asi and Dr. Subih Al-Mukhazeem for their work during the previous Board term.

Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and University Board member Dr. Lamia Al-Melhem emphasized the meeting's importance in strengthening collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange among member states.

Dr. Al-Melhem added that Kuwait's hosting of this academic gathering reaffirms its commitment to supporting the Arabian Gulf University as a leading regional educational institution that prepares qualified Gulf generations equipped with knowledge and competence.
