His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain expressed his profound pride in the deep-rooted fraternal relations and strong historical bonds between Bahrain and Jordan, which continue to grow and excel thanks to the mutual commitment to strengthening and consolidating them in service of common interests.
The Bahrain News Agency reported that the King made these remarks during his reception of Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, at Safriya Palace on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom.
King Hamad emphasized the importance of such visits, which bolster cooperation, consultation, and coordination on various issues amid the ongoing developments and events in the region.
He also expressed his appreciation and admiration for the efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in strengthening Bahraini-Jordanian relations, as well as Jordan’s constructive endeavors to enhance joint Arab action and support peace, security, and stability in the region.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed regional and international developments of mutual concern, primarily the latest developments in the Middle East, and exchanged views on them.
For his part, Safadi expressed his gratitude to the King of Bahrain for the warm reception and hospitality, as well as his continuous dedication to strengthening the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries. He praised Bahrain’s steadfast Arab stances and the high level of Bahraini-Jordanian coordination and cooperation across various levels.
