Newly-crowned Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad concluded their triumphant campaign with a 1-0 victory over Damac at King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah on Monday, in the final matchday (34th round) of the Roshn Saudi League.
Dutch winger Steven Berghuis scored the match's only goal in the 72nd minute, securing three points that elevated Al-Ittihad to 83 points - clinching their historic 10th league title in front of their home fans. The champions finished eight points clear of second-placed Al-Hilal.
The Tigers had mathematically secured the title two rounds earlier following their 3-1 victory over Al-Raed. Meanwhile, Damac concluded their season in 14th position with 35 points.
