The Scientific Center has announced the launch of its annual summer camp for children aged 6 to 12 years old. The camp offers a distinctive educational and recreational experience spanning 10 consecutive weeks.

Mohammed Al-Sanousi, Deputy Director General for Visitor Experience at the Center, stated in a press release that each week of the camp will feature a different theme and unique scientific topic. These include Planet Earth, the Animal Kingdom, Chemistry, Engineering, Technology, Marine Sciences, Forensic Science, Dinosaurs and Fossils, Ancient Civilizations, the Human Body, and Space.

Al-Sanousi explained that each week will include interactive activities comprising science lessons, art workshops, STEAM challenges, sports games, and field visits to the Center's facilities such as the IMAX theater, aquarium, and discovery hall, along with external trips to selected educational and entertainment destinations.

He added that the summer program will also include a visit to the new "Science World" exhibition, the latest addition to the Center's offerings, which features innovative interactive content to enhance children's understanding of modern science and advanced technologies.

Al-Sanousi noted that each weekly experience will conclude with an "Open Day" event, allowing children to showcase what they've learned in a fun and exciting atmosphere. The camp activities will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with early drop-off and late pick-up services available to provide greater flexibility for parents.

Emphasizing the Center's belief that summer learning should be enjoyable and inspiring, Al-Sanousi stressed that this year's camp offers a rich blend of scientific experiences and recreational activities designed to stimulate children's curiosity and develop their skills through practical, interactive methods.
