Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi revealed on Saturday that he is engaged in ongoing, intensive communications with counterparts from "brotherly and friendly nations" to contain rising tensions in the region.
The Oman News Agency reported that Al-Busaidi, during these diplomatic engagements, emphasized the urgent need to:
Halt aggression and deter aggressors through peaceful means
Adhere to international law and justice
Prevent further bloodshed, destruction, and civilian casualties
Safeguard regional security and stability
Protect the supreme interests of the region's peoples
These efforts come as part of Oman's diplomatic initiatives to counter the dangerous military escalation caused by Israel's occupation forces through their direct attacks on Iranian territory since early Friday morning.
