Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam emphasized on Sunday the critical need to "spare Lebanon any involvement or entanglement in any form in the ongoing regional confrontation between Israeli occupation forces and Iran."

In a post on platform X, Salam stated: "Rigorous adherence to Lebanon's supreme national interest remains our sharpest weapon against this dangerous military escalation and its potential repercussions across the region."

He affirmed that "the Lebanese people's awareness of their supreme national interest constitutes the true safeguard during these delicate circumstances."
