Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar held talks with Libyan Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdulsadek on Friday to explore cooperation prospects between the two countries in the hydrocarbon resources sector.

In a post on platform X, Bayraktar stated that he met with his Libyan counterpart in Istanbul, where they discussed potential cooperation opportunities, particularly in oil and natural gas exploration.

He added that both sides emphasized the importance of leveraging mutual expertise, noting that "tangible cooperation between Turkey and Libya would create mutual benefits and enhance energy partnership."
