U.S. President Predicts Gaza Ceasefire Agreement Next Week..

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his expectation that a ceasefire agreement would be reached between Hamas and the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip within the coming week.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, President Trump described the situation in Gaza as "catastrophic" and stated he believed a ceasefire was "getting close." He noted he had spoken with "some people involved in trying to reach a ceasefire," emphasizing the possibility of achieving this goal within the next week.

"The people in Gaza are starving and dying... Look at those crowds of people who have no food," Trump added. He stated his country was assisting in efforts to find a solution, saying, "We're helping with this and are obligated for humanitarian reasons," while calling on other nations to help deliver food aid to Palestinians.

The United States had announced on Thursday that it was currently focused on reaching an agreement to end the Israeli occupation's war on the besieged Gaza Strip. Deputy U.S. State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott told journalists that the humanitarian situation in Gaza was one of the reasons Washington was prioritizing a ceasefire.
