The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned on Wednesday the aerial attacks conducted by Israeli occupation forces on multiple areas across Syrian territory.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, MWL Secretary-General and head of the Muslim Scholars Association, denounced what he described as "this dangerous, barbaric approach adopted by the Israeli occupation government" in violating state sovereignty, breaching international laws and norms, and destabilizing security in Syria and the region.

Al-Issa reaffirmed full solidarity with Syria against any threats to its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He urged the international community to take immediate and decisive measures against these grave violations that:

• Undermine regional security

• Disrupt opportunities for restoring Syrian people's safety and stability

• Jeopardize international efforts to support Syria during this critical juncture following years of injustice and suffering

Earlier Wednesday, the Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported Israeli occupation forces had conducted airstrikes targeting several locations in Daraa city, southern Syria. The Syrian Health Ministry's media office confirmed one fatality and 18 injuries from attacks on the capital Damascus.
