First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah met on Monday with the Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Armenia to Kuwait, Dr. Arsen Arakelian, to discuss several matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance security coordination and combat crime.
A press statement issued by the General Directorate of Security Relations and Media stated that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef received the Armenian ambassador in his office at the Ministry of Interior, in line with the ministry's commitment to strengthening international cooperation.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef praised the strong relations between the two friendly countries, emphasizing Kuwait's keenness to expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in security-related fields.
For his part, the Armenian ambassador expressed his deep appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his country's commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Kuwait across various fields.
Both sides expressed their aspiration to continue coordination and cooperation, reflecting the depth of relations between the two friendly nations and serving their shared interests in multiple areas.
