The foreign ministers of Iraq and Iran discussed bilateral and international issues in a phone call..

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated in a release that the two ministers reviewed the latest developments in the ongoing talks in Türkiye between Iran and the three European countries (the United Kingdom, France, and Germany), in addition to the challenges hindering the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the United States.


They also discussed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing famine and deteriorating living conditions, stressing the importance of intensifying international efforts to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and coordinating positions in international forums in support of the Palestinian cause.
