US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that Arab countries would assist his administration in providing food aid to the besieged Gaza Strip, where famine is intensifying and the humanitarian situation is deteriorating.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, "I don’t know what the proposal is, but I know we’re there now to feed the people. The US recently provided $60 million to supply them with food, but clearly, they’re not getting enough."

He added, "The Arab countries will help us with that—financially and perhaps with distribution. That’s what I’m focusing on. As for the rest, I can’t say for sure, as it largely depends on Israel."

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation officials have suggested reoccupying the Gaza Strip, where occupation forces have been committing daily massacres and acts of genocide since October 2023.
