Yemen Condemns Statements by Israeli Occupation Prime Minister About So-Called "Greater Israel"..

The Yemeni government strongly condemned on Wednesday the statements made by the Israeli occupation prime minister regarding his so-called "Greater Israel vision," emphasizing that it constitutes a blatant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

In a statement, Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that these remarks embody the expansionist and racist mentality of the occupation and reveal its true intentions to undermine chances for achieving a just and comprehensive peace. The ministry warned that the continuation of such provocative policies would push the region toward further tension and instability.

The statement reaffirmed Yemen's steadfast support for the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. It called on the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities and take urgent, binding measures to stop violations and hold occupation leaders accountable for their practices that threaten regional and international security and peace.
