The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Monday the State of Kuwait's welcome of the Alaska summit that brought together U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In a statement, the Ministry affirmed that this summit represents a positive and significant step toward resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis through dialogue and diplomatic channels.

The statement reiterated Kuwait's firm stance in advocating for constructive dialogue to resolve all conflicts, aiming to achieve just peace in a manner that positively reflects on regional and international security and stability.
