The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Thursday the State of Kuwait's deep concern regarding the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation affecting the brotherly people of Sudan, and the critical levels of humanitarian needs resulting from the current situation.

In a statement, the Ministry called on all parties to take urgent measures to protect civilians, allow humanitarian aid to reach those in need, and facilitate its delivery in accordance with the obligations stipulated under international humanitarian law and the Jeddah Declaration of Commitment to Protect the Civilians of Sudan for the year 2023.

The Ministry added that it supports the contents of the statement issued by the "Allied for Saving Lives and Peace in Sudan" group in this regard and commends the constructive steps it included to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Sudanese people.
