The Egyptian President will hold discussions with the Saudi Crown Prince to support the strategic partnership..

The Egyptian Presidency announced on Thursday that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will hold discussions today with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on ways to support and enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries.

In a press statement, Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy said the talks, held in the city of Neom, come within the framework of the deep-rooted historical relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

He added that the discussions reflect the keenness of the two leaderships to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation, in addition to ongoing coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest.

Ambassador Fahmy clarified that the talks will focus on the latest developments in the region, foremost among them the developments of the war in the Gaza Strip, along with files related to Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Yemen, as well as Red Sea security.
