The General Administration of Customs announced on Sunday that, based on Amiri Decree No. (162) of 2025, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, issued a decision appointing new leadership within (Customs) to enhance and develop its customs work.
In a press statement, (Customs) said the decision stipulated the appointment of Yousef Khalid Al-Nuwaif as Director General of the General Administration of Customs with the rank of Undersecretary, the appointment of Saleh Mohammed Al-Omar as Deputy Director General of (Customs) for Customs Investigation and Inquiry Affairs with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary, and the appointment of Fatima Hamza Al-Qallaf as Deputy Director General of (Customs) for Administrative and Financial Affairs with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
It mentioned that this decision comes within the framework of the political leadership's keenness to enhance and develop customs work to keep pace with the requirements of the upcoming phase and to support national competencies in positions of responsibility.
