The eSports Championship aims to establish esports as a national sport, enhance the pride of players when representing their home countries, and provide fans around the world with an opportunity to support their national teams and their favourite players.The tournament is set to take place every two years, which will provide a regular schedule for players, coaches, organisations and federations, as well as sufficient time and greater confidence for publishers, clubs and partners to invest in long-term programmes for national teams. The first edition of the tournament will kick off in November 2026 in Riyadh, after which countries and cities around the world will have the opportunity to host this event in the near future, which will give the tournament a true global dimension and embody its vision and goals aimed at enhancing the global spread of esports and increasing its positive and sustainable impact locally.
