The 21st extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) commenced its proceedings on Monday at its headquarters in Jeddah, with the participation of Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya.
The General Secretariat of the organization stated that the extraordinary meeting is discussing the ongoing aggression of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and the developments regarding the Palestinian cause, which is the central issue for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The meeting aims to coordinate positions and joint efforts to confront the decisions and plans aimed at entrenching the Israeli occupation and its plans for complete control over the Gaza Strip. It is also scheduled to discuss the crimes of genocide, starvation, displacement, and the siege imposed by the occupation, as well as the unprecedented humanitarian crisis witnessed in the Strip.
