The Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Khaled Al-Omaira, today sentenced the Filipino maid accused of killing a Kuwaiti child by putting him in a washing machine and turning it on.

This incident took place at the end of last December inside the family's home in the suburb of Sabah Al-Salem, where the parents lost their child of about two years old, as the father found the door of the laundry room on the roof closed, and when he opened it, he was surprised to find the child inside the washing machine a lifeless body, and tried to take him to the hospital in vain.
