HP masters the EliteBook 8's smart port update and exemplifies modern development..

Apple surprised the laptop world in 2016 when it launched the new MacBook Pro, which completely abandoned the USB-A port, adopting a design that relies entirely on USB-C ports.

Since then, the company has stuck to this trend, and hasn't returned to the USB-A port even after the recent redesign that brought back the HDMI port. Many manufacturers have adopted the same approach in some of their devices, including HP.But the HP EliteBook series has long been an exception, maintaining its conservative character, and continuing to offer two USB-A ports on most models through 2024, such as the HP EliteBook 845 G11 available on Amazon.

This year, the American company has completely redesigned the EliteBook lineup, including the new HP EliteBook 8 series that continues the legacy of the classic EliteBook 800 series.
