Apple today announced the upgrade of the Vision Pro glasses as it added the new M5 processor to the device, as well as a new band called Dual Knit Band, describing it as helping users get a more comfortable fit. The new version with the M5 processor starts on October 22, and at the same price of $3499, with no change in the exterior design.

According to the press release, the M5 processor delivers faster processing and more detailed images, displaying 10% of the extra pixels on OLED screens, and raising the refresh rate to 120Hz (compared to 100Hz previously). AI-powered features, such as Persona or spatial imagery, are up to 50% faster.
