Mozilla has launched the new version of its popular Firefox browser, version 135, which comes with direct integration of AI services, alongside security enhancements and expanded translation support.
Unlike Microsoft Edge, which integrates its Copilot assistant, or the Brave browser, which offers its smart assistant Leo, Mozilla is not investing in developing its own AI model.
Instead, Mozilla has added access to a variety of external chatbots, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, as well as lesser-known models like HuggingChat and Le Chat Mistral.
Users can switch between different chatbots via a dropdown menu within the browser, with the ability to activate the feature through a dedicated button in the sidebar.
