Honor is preparing to unveil the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro on November 24 inside China. Having previously reviewed the design of the two phones, the brand has now announced that the Pro version will come with a 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen.
This type of sensor provides higher accuracy and better security compared to traditional optical sensors. In addition, Honor confirms that the new sensor in the 500 Pro is faster than previous generations, as it can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds, even with water on the hand or screen, especially since the device has an IP69K rating to resist harsh conditions.
