ASMO, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and DHL, announced the commencement of construction on its first fully integrated, purpose-built logistics complex, spanning 1.4 million square meters in King Salman Energy Park (SPARK).
The project is being developed and financed in partnership with Arcapita Group Holdings Limited (Arcapita), a global alternative investment management firm, under an agreement signed earlier this year.
This complex is designed to meet logistics needs, featuring Class A logistics warehouses equipped with temperature control systems, dedicated chemical storage facilities, offices and staff amenities, and spacious outdoor areas for storing and handling industrial products. The project adheres to the highest technical specifications and safety standards, incorporating advanced automation and storage solutions, fire protection systems, solar energy systems, and electric vehicle charging stations. The company is also pursuing LEED Gold certification for green buildings. Commenting on this, Salem bin Abdulrahman Al-Harish, Chairman
