Microsoft is developing a new feature that automatically fixes Windows 11 driver errors..

Microsoft is testing new features in Windows 11 aimed at improving the Windows update experience and reducing associated problems. The company is working on adding a mechanism that automatically recovers faulty device drivers installed via Windows Update.

Microsoft is developing a new feature called Cloud-Initiated Driver Recovery, which allows the system to replace defective drivers installed through Windows Updates with previous stable versions that functioned normally on the device.

The new mechanism relies on monitoring the quality of drivers during Microsoft's evaluation process. If the company detects a problematic driver, it can send a cloud-based restore command to automatically remove and replace it without requiring user intervention or waiting for a new update from the device manufacturer.
