The Ministry of Oil stated that the event "Kuwait in the Eyes of Its People," which it organized last Friday and concludes later today, Tuesday, is part of its societal and awareness-raising role aimed at fostering values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland.  

The Public Relations and Petroleum Media Department at the Ministry added in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Information as part of the Heritage Sea Day Festival, coinciding with the country's celebrations of national holidays.  

The Ministry pointed out that the event aims to introduce visitors to Kuwait's rich history and pioneering achievements, offering them an opportunity to explore Kuwait's oil heritage through an interactive approach.  

It emphasized its commitment to raising awareness about the importance of the oil sector and its pivotal role in supporting the national economy by organizing knowledge-based competitions that included oil-related questions and the distribution of incentive prizes to participants in a celebratory atmosphere that promotes oil culture among various segments of society.  

The Ministry noted that it launched its national campaign at the beginning of this month, titled "Pride and Honor of Kuwait," which included a series of awareness and educational activities, as well as media initiatives highlighting the role of the oil sector in the comprehensive development journey and reflecting its active contribution to achieving Kuwait's future vision.  

It mentioned that its participation in national events stems from its national responsibility and its commitment to engaging with all segments of society, strengthening the spirit of national unity through activities that celebrate Kuwait's history and achievements, and expressing the pride of Kuwaitis in their ambitious developmental journey.  

On this occasion, the Ministry extended its highest congratulations to His Highness the Amir of the country, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the esteemed government, and the noble Kuwaiti people, praying to Almighty God to continue bestowing upon Kuwait the blessings of security and prosperity and to sustain its journey of progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
