**The Kuwait Shooting Club organized a celebration today, Sunday, on the occasion of the National Holidays of the State of Kuwait, attended by a number of accredited ambassadors in the country, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Kuwait, and their families. The event took place at the (Sabah Al-Ahmad) Olympic Shooting Complex.**  

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the club’s chairman, Daij Al-Otaibi, said that organizing this celebration and visit in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Kuwait aims to involve diplomats in the club’s celebrations alongside its members on this cherished occasion.  

Al-Otaibi expressed the club’s pride in hosting these diplomatic delegations from brotherly and friendly nations, extending his thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Ambassador Sheikh Jarah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the country, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zubaydullah Zubaydov, for their participation in the event.  

Al-Otaibi also conveyed his highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people on the occasion of the National Holidays.  

**For his part, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the country, Ambassador Dr. Zubaydullah Zubaydov, stated in a remark to KUNA that this visit reflects the eagerness of the diplomatic corps working in Kuwait to celebrate the National Holidays with all segments of Kuwaiti society. He considered it an opportunity for mutual acquaintance, exchange of ideas, and cultural interaction among participants.**  

Zubaydov emphasized that the participation of such a large number of diplomats and their families is evidence of the great affection Kuwait and its people enjoy among the diplomatic corps. He expressed his admiration for the club’s advanced facilities, which have enabled its shooters to achieve significant accomplishments at all levels.  

**In a similar statement to KUNA, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Kuwait, Zhang Jianwei, praised this initiative that brought together the diplomatic family and the club’s members. He added that he greatly enjoyed the special program of the visit and meeting Kuwaiti athletes in the sport of shooting.**  

Ambassador Jianwei stated that such visits contribute to strengthening the bonds of friendship and goodwill between the Chinese and Kuwaiti peoples, particularly in the sports field. He congratulated Kuwait’s leadership, government, and people on the National Holidays.
