The Women's Voluntary Association for Community Development celebrates the national holidays at Al-Qasr Al-Ahmar (the Red Palace)..

The Women's Voluntary Association for Community Development, in cooperation with the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters, celebrated today, Tuesday, the 64th National Day and the 34th Liberation Day at Al-Qasr Al-Ahmar (the Red Palace) under the slogan "Kuwait of Pride."  


In a press statement, the Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors, Sheikha Fadia Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, stated that Al-Qasr Al-Ahmar was chosen to host this event due to its historical value and its representation of a rich heritage, as one of the most important historical and cultural landmarks of Kuwait. It embodies a significant aspect of the history of the Kuwaiti people and the struggle of their forefathers to preserve the nation.  


She added that the purpose of the celebration, which saw the participation of numerous entities and folk groups, is to renew the pledge of loyalty and allegiance to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him. She emphasized that the people of Kuwait continue to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, who sacrificed their lives for the pride and dignity of the beloved nation.  


Sheikha Fadia explained that the celebration, organized in collaboration with the Technical Guidance for Al-Zahrat and Al-Murshidat in Al-Jahra, the Kuwaiti Girl Guides Association, and the "Kuwait in Our Hearts" group, featured a variety of national performances, a comprehensive family program, competitions, and gifts for children. The event also included traditional games, a folk Ardha performance, and a fireworks display that lit up the sky of Al-Jahra.
