The Embassies of Kuwait in Malta and Armenia, along with its Consulates in Istanbul and Mumbai, celebrated the national holidays..

The Embassies of the State of Kuwait in Malta and Armenia, along with the Consulates of Kuwait in Istanbul and Mumbai, celebrated the 64th National Day and the 34th Liberation Day. The events were attended by a number of ambassadors, senior officials, and prominent figures.  


In Malta, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait hosted its annual reception to mark the national holidays, attended by the President of Malta, Dr. Myriam Spiteri Debono, along with several distinguished personalities, senior government officials, representatives from economic, cultural, and media organizations, ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Malta, and Kuwaiti students studying at the University of Malta.  


In her speech during the reception, the President of Malta extended her congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him. She praised the unique historical relations between the two countries, noting that in the early years of diplomatic relations in the 1970s, Malta benefited from Kuwaiti aid. She also highlighted Malta's stance during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, which left an indelible positive mark on bilateral relations.  


She commended the progress made in exploring new avenues of cooperation in various fields, emphasizing that the ongoing collaboration in education and the presence of a large number of Kuwaiti students at the University of Malta are clear evidence of how positive relations between the two friendly nations can flourish.  


For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Malta, Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi, in his speech during the reception, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and the entire Kuwaiti people.  


Al-Mutairi emphasized the depth of relations between Kuwait and Malta, praising the growth and prosperity of these ties. He noted that Kuwait will never forget Malta's historic stance during the Iraqi invasion in 1990, adding that over the years, both countries have demonstrated their commitment to strengthening these historical relations for the benefit of their peoples by exploring further avenues of cooperation in various fields, particularly in education, which stands as a prime example of bilateral collaboration.  


He also commended Malta's recent role during its membership in the United Nations Security Council and its leadership of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), noting that Malta has proven its commitment to justice and peace by diligently playing a vital role in promoting international peace and security.  


In Armenia, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait celebrated the national holidays in the presence of several ambassadors, senior officials, and the representative of the Armenian government, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, Gevorg Mantashyan.  


The Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Armenia, Minister Plenipotentiary Khaled Al-Khurainej, in his speech during the event, extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him. He prayed that God would continue to bless Kuwait with joy and prosperity.  


Al-Khurainej praised the distinguished and growing relations between Kuwait and Armenia across various fields and announced the launch of a direct flight between the capitals of the two countries this summer.  


In Istanbul, the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait held a celebration to mark the national holidays in a joyful atmosphere that reflected the strong bonds of friendship between the two peoples.  


The Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Istanbul, Mohammed Al-Sharji, in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), extended his highest congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, on the occasion of the national holidays. He wished Kuwait and its people continued prosperity and progress under the wise leadership.  


Al-Sharji emphasized the depth and strength of the relations between Turkey and Kuwait in various fields during the event, which was attended by a number of government officials, consuls, media representatives, and business leaders.  


He praised the longstanding historical relations and close fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples, which continue to grow through cooperation and coordination in all fields. He also highlighted the visit of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, to the Republic of Turkey in May of last year, which injected new energy and vitality into the bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.  


In Mumbai, the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait hosted an official reception to celebrate the national holidays, attended by a select group of officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and prominent figures from the economic, cultural, and media sectors.  


The Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Mumbai, Imad Al-Kharraz, in his speech during the event, extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister. He prayed that God would continue to bless Kuwait with security, stability, and prosperity.  


Al-Kharraz emphasized the depth of the historical, economic, and cultural relations between Kuwait and India, noting that Mumbai has always been a focal point in enhancing trade and maritime links between the two countries.  


He added that Kuwaiti-Indian relations are built on a solid foundation of mutual respect and joint cooperation, pointing out that the volume of trade between the two countries exceeds $10 billion annually.
