Kuwait's Deputy Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection tour on Wednesday, which included the security checkpoint at Khiran Commercial Complex, Al-Mubarakiya Market, and the military exhibition (Kuwait Security). This was part of the follow-up on security measures during the national holiday celebrations.
In a statement issued by the General Directorate of Security Relations and Media, the Ministry of Interior stated that during his visit to the security checkpoint at Khiran Commercial Complex, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf reviewed the security distribution, the deployment mechanism of the security forces, and their role in handling emergency situations. He was received upon arrival by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamad Al-Munayfi.
The Ministry added that during his inspection of the security checkpoint at Al-Mubarakiya Market, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf observed the mechanism by which security personnel interact with the public and their deployment according to the security plan to ensure the safety and security of everyone.
The Ministry also reported that the Deputy Minister of Interior concluded his tour by visiting the (Kuwait Security) exhibition, in which the Ministry of Interior is participating through its various sectors alongside other military entities. He was accompanied by the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Yusuf Al-Khadda.
