Human Mobile Devices (HMD) announced the launch of its new HMD Amped Buds at MWC 2025, introducing innovative features that make it outperform competitors.
These headphones come as the first global product with a large charging case with a large capacity of 1600 mAh, allowing users to charge their smartphones while listening to music.
Highlights of HMD Amped Buds The charging case is designed to be lightweight and slim, weighing just 80g and 14mm thick. The headphones themselves are carefully designed to provide superior comfort during use, thanks to an adjustable joint that fits different ear shapes.
Also, the charging case has an IPX4 water resistance rating, while the headphones come with an IP54 splash resistance rating, which makes them durable and suitable for daily use in various conditions.
The headphones provide a powerful and balanced audio experience with special low-frequency enhancement, as well as the ability to customize the audio experience via the Amped Buds app available for both Android and iOS users.
Performance and built-in technologies The HMD Amped Buds are powered by Bluetooth 5.4 technology, and have 10mm speakers, with support for Snapdragon Sound technology that delivers high-fidelity, distortion-free sound.
The charging case supports several charging technologies, including wired charging via USB Type-C, magnetic charging, as well as reverse wireless charging for compatible devices.
Thanks to the large battery capacity, the charging case can charge a phone like the iPhone 16 by up to 20% via magnetic charging and 24 by wired charging.
