The Kuwait Municipality today, Thursday, appreciated the cooperation of the owners of temporary event halls with the regulatory teams and their initiative to dismantle the halls in preparation for their voluntary removal, in respect for the rule of law. 

In a press statement, the Director of the Public Relations Department and the official spokesperson for the Municipality, Mohammad Al-Sandan, stated that everyone seeks the public interest and upholds the principle of enforcing municipal laws and regulations. He praised the significant cooperation demonstrated by the owners of wedding halls and their compliance with the law, as well as the decision issued regarding the removal of temporary event tents. 

Al-Sandan added that the cooperation of the owners of temporary event halls is highly valued by the Kuwait Municipality. He further explained that the role of the Municipality's regulatory teams is to ensure compliance with municipal laws, regulations, and bylaws, and that the Municipality takes into account providing sufficient time for the dismantling of the halls. 

He emphasized that the Municipality's teams will not hesitate to remove any non-compliant wedding hall in execution of the issued decisions, which are mandatory.
