YouTube has announced the launch of a new subscription under the name Premium Lite, which allows users to watch most videos without ads for $ 8 per month, which is cheaper compared to the full premium subscription that is priced at $ 14 per month.

The platform explained that the new subscription is available in the United States, and will be launched in other pilot markets, such as Australia, Germany and Thailand, in the coming weeks.

The Premium Lite subscription allows most of the content, such as podcasts, games, news, and other clips to be watched without ads.

However, this subscription will not include the removal of ads from music content, and ads will still be present in the YouTube Music service and music videos.
