(Preliminary Handball League) Kazma and Kuwait secure victories over Al-Nasr and Al-Yarmouk..

Today, Thursday, Kazma Handball Club defeated Al-Nasr with a score of (33-27), while Kuwait Club triumphed over Al-Yarmouk with a score of (33-21) in the matches of the Preliminary Handball League for the current 2024/2025 season. These matches were postponed for both Kuwait and Kazma clubs due to their participation in the 27th Asian Club Championship, which qualifies for the World Championship (Super Globe 2025), held last November in Doha, the Qatari capital.


Kazma continued its positive performances and secured another victory, this time against Al-Nasr. Kazma ended the first half with a comfortable lead (16-11) and maintained its dominance in the second half, clinching the win with a final score of (33-27). This victory allowed Kazma to climb the league standings, reaching third place with 15 points.


In the second match, the league leaders, Kuwait Club, extended their lead over their closest rival, Burgan, in second place by defeating Al-Yarmouk with a score of (33-21). Kuwait ended the first half with a significant lead (17-8) and continued their dominance in the second half, securing the win and increasing their points to 20, maintaining their position at the top of the league.


The postponed matches will continue the day after tomorrow, Saturday, with Kazma facing Al-Fahaheel and Kuwait taking on Khaithan at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. The general handball league matches will resume on March 21st with the 12th round, following the completion of the postponed matches.
