The Minister of Foreign Affairs chaired the 163rd session of the Gulf Ministerial Council in Makkah to discuss enhancing joint Gulf cooperation..

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and current Chairman of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council, Abdullah Al-Yahya, chaired the 163rd session of the Ministerial Council, which was held in the early hours of Friday in Makkah.


During the meeting, all items on the agenda and decisions related to supporting and enhancing the historic journey of joint Gulf cooperation in various fields were discussed. 


The mechanisms for developing areas of cooperation between the Gulf system and brotherly and friendly countries, regional groups, and other international organizations were also examined. Additionally, the agenda items included issues and topics related to current developments in the region, as well as a comprehensive discussion of regional and international issues and frameworks for joint coordination regarding them.
