Kuwait Stock Exchange closes its trading with its general index rising by 25.48 points..

The Kuwait Stock Exchange concluded its trading session on Monday, with its general index rising by 25.48 points, an increase of 0.32 percent, to reach 8,067.36 points. A total of 513 million shares were traded through 21,921 cash transactions, amounting to 219.10 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 674.8 million US dollars).


The Main Market Index declined by 8.66 points, a decrease of 0.12 percent, to reach 7,510.49 points, with 363 million shares traded through 10,032 cash transactions valued at 158.3 million dinars (approximately 487.5 million US dollars).


Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index rose by 35.36 points, an increase of 0.41 percent, to reach 8,604.68 points, with 149.9 million shares traded through 11,889 transactions valued at 60.7 million dinars (approximately 186.9 million US dollars).


In parallel, the (Main 50) Index increased by 95.41 points, a rise of 1.30 percent, to reach 7,437.20 points, with 338.7 million shares traded through 8,675 cash transactions valued at 155.8 million dinars (approximately 479.8 million US dollars).


Among the companies, (Emirates), (First Fuel), (Noor), and (Al-Khaleeji) were the top gainers, while (Power House), (Hotels), (Thuraya), and (Real Estate) were the top decliners.
