Google is preparing for a new beta model for Gemini customization, designed to give you help based on your search history.

The customization option isn't available to users yet, but the Assemble Debug was able to enable it in the latest beta version of the Android app, and set it to appear alongside Gemini's existing AI chatbots.

The customization option differs significantly from other chatbots in Gemini in that it asks you for permission to read your Google search history before you begin. You will also need to turn on the web and app activity setting for the chatbot to work.

Once you've given Gemini access to your search history, you'll be able to ask questions based on your past use of Google search. The report explains that Gemini can provide detailed answers to questions such as "show me my search history" and "when did you look for Gemini."
