The Deputy Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, led a high-level delegation from the Corporation and its subsidiaries to participate in the (CERAWeek) conference, which kicked off in Houston, Texas, USA, the day before yesterday, Monday.
In a press statement issued today, Wednesday, the Corporation stated that the conference, which concludes this Friday, is witnessing the attendance of thousands of leaders from the oil industry, decision-makers, and experts from around the world to discuss critical energy-related issues amid global economic transformations.
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah participated in a dialogue session moderated by the conference chairman and oil expert Daniel Yergin, during which he affirmed KPC's commitment to its responsibilities toward its customers by ensuring the provision of secure supplies of crude oil and clean products.
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah also highlighted the significant achievements made by the Kuwaiti oil sector in the fields of exploration, development, and production, particularly in offshore exploration.
He emphasized the importance of innovating new solutions to support the Corporation's efforts in addressing technical and economic challenges, while reaffirming Kuwait's continued commitment to meeting global demand for crude oil and low-emission products.
On his part, the Managing Director of Planning and Finance at KPC, Bader Al-Atar, participated in a session titled (Outlook on Future Oil Demand), during which he outlined the Corporation's strategy and that of its subsidiaries in dealing with price fluctuations through flexible planning and market diversification.
During the session, Al-Atar affirmed that fluctuations in global supply and demand would not affect the growth trajectory of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, noting that demand for Kuwaiti oil would persist for decades to come, even amid the transition toward alternative energy sources.
