The Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, announced the continuation of comprehensive road maintenance works in the **Abdullah Al-Mubarak** area as part of the new comprehensive maintenance contracts for highways and internal roads. These contracts include 18 major projects for road maintenance across various regions of the country in all six governorates.  

In a press statement today, Sunday, Dr. Al-Mashaan said that the maintenance works in the **Abdullah Al-Mubarak** area are progressing according to the plans and phases set for comprehensive road maintenance, which began with the most damaged areas and then moved to the less affected ones, while fully adhering to quality assurance and international standards.  

For his part, the Deputy Supervisor of Maintenance Works, Engineer **Abdullah Al-Mutairi**, stated in a similar press statement that the current phase of work in the **Abdullah Al-Mubarak** area involves milling and laying the second layer (Type 2), which precedes the final layer. He explained that the maintenance works are currently being carried out between Sections 1 and 3 and are progressing according to a specified timeline.  

Al-Mutairi pointed out that milling works are being carried out between Sections 1 and 2, along with civil works in Section 8. He confirmed that the stormwater lines in Sections 8 and 9, which precede the asphalt works in the area, have been completed.
