The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempted assassination of His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia, which resulted in a number of casualties.  

In a statement issued today, Wednesday, the ministry reiterated Kuwait's firm stance in rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism, affirming its full solidarity with the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia in all measures it takes to maintain its security and stability.  

The ministry also extended its sincere condolences to the government and people of Somalia, expressing its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
