The Spanish government today, Saturday, condemned the violation of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation, calling for restraint and the avoidance of escalating violence.  

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a brief statement the necessity of fully respecting the agreement, noting that the Spanish government is committed to regional stability and full compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.  

The ministry urged all parties to respect international law and international humanitarian law and to avoid escalating violence.
