Egypt has categorically denied allegations that it agreed to the forced displacement of Palestinians in return for financial assistance..

Egypt has strongly denied media reports alleging its acceptance of plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in exchange for economic assistance, reaffirming its firm and principled rejection of any such attempts.

Official Statement by the Egyptian State Information Service (SIS):

No Compromise on National Interests:

"Egypt’s foreign policy has never been based on 'bartering' its supreme national and Arab interests for any form of compensation."

Unwavering Stance on Palestinian Rights:

The SIS emphasized Egypt’s "absolute and final rejection" of any forced or voluntary displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, particularly to Egypt, warning that such actions would liquidate the Palestinian cause and pose a grave threat to Egyptian national security.

Historical Commitment:

"For over 75 years, Egypt’s position on the Palestinian cause—the core of Egyptian and Arab national security—has remained principled and steadfast, prioritizing both national security and the rights of the Palestinian people."

Economic Sacrifices:

Egypt has borne "massive economic and financial burdens" due to this stance, yet has "never wavered, even slightly, in safeguarding its national security or the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people."

Diplomatic Rejection:

"Egypt didn’t merely reject the displacement proposal in political and diplomatic forums since the start of the aggression on Gaza—it openly denounced it from the first hours through its political leadership, in alignment with its national security and higher Arab interests."

Moral Foundations:

The statement reiterated Egypt’s adherence to a foreign policy rooted in "ethics" and its "complete refusal of any considerations that might undermine these principles."
