 German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul called on Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday to reconsider his stance and join the upcoming Ukraine peace negotiations scheduled to take place in Istanbul, Turkey.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an informal NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Antalya, Wadephul stated:
