Health Official: Kuwait Conference on Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery Serves as Strategic Platform to Cement Country's Regional and Global Leadership..

Dr. Mohammad Khalaf, Head of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Al-Babtain Burns & Plastic Surgery Center and Conference Chairman, stated that the 2nd Kuwait Conference on Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery (KCRPS) represents a strategic milestone in positioning Kuwait as a regional and international leader in the field. The event reflects the Ministry of Health's commitment to healthcare excellence and developing national medical professionals.


In a Tuesday press statement, Dr. Khalaf announced the conference will launch this Thursday under the patronage of Health Minister Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, in collaboration with the Kuwait Surgeons Society and featuring international participation. The event will showcase cutting-edge advancements in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.


"This year's conference incorporates two landmark events - the 1st Facial Surgery Association Conference and 1st Microsurgery Association Conference - creating unprecedented scientific synergy and multidisciplinary participation," Dr. Khalaf explained.


The conference aims to facilitate knowledge exchange among elite surgeons from Kuwait and worldwide, particularly focusing on congenital deformities and complex surgical cases to enhance healthcare quality. The scientific program features:
