The launch of the activities of the second Gulf Youth Forum for Social Responsibility in Manama..

The second Gulf Youth Forum for Social Responsibility launched today, Wednesday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the participation of an elite group of youth from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, along with a number of official and community figures.

In his opening speech, Bahrain’s Minister of Social Development, Osama Al-Alawi, expressed his pride in this Gulf initiative, describing it as a leading platform to promote the concepts of social responsibility and exchange expertise among Gulf youth. He emphasized that the forum represents a significant step toward empowering youth in the development of their communities.

During the event, organized by the Bahraini Society for Social Responsibility, Al-Alawi stressed that the Kingdom places great importance on youth as a fundamental pillar in sustainable development and as key players in promoting values of participation, solidarity, and responsibility.

He highlighted the importance of continuously fostering a culture of social responsibility by supporting youth and community initiatives and strengthening partnerships between the public sector, private sector, and civil society. Al-Alawi noted that such events play a crucial role in motivating young people to take the lead in community-driven initiatives.
