Saudi Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel inaugurated the Surgical Robot Project on Wednesday as part of the Ministry's preparations for this year's Hajj season, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services to the Guests of the Most Merciful (pilgrims).

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the inauguration ceremony took place during Minister Al-Jalajel's inspection visit to King Abdullah Medical City to assess the readiness of health services in the holy sites.

The agency clarified that this launch forms part of the Health Ministry's preparations to receive Hajj pilgrims, aiming to provide comprehensive health services according to the highest standards of quality and safety. These efforts seek to create an integrated health environment that enables pilgrims to perform their rituals with complete peace of mind and health security.

The Surgical Robot Project represents one of the latest medical technologies for performing precise and complex surgeries in thoracic, urological, uterine, and colorectal procedures. It is distinguished by its high accuracy and reduced need for human surgical intervention.
