Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Governor of Ahmadi and Chairman of the Green Urban Development Initiatives Committee, announced during an inspection tour on Saturday that the ornamental landscaping project along Phases 1 and 2 of the Second Ring Road marks the committee's first official initiative, with similar green projects planned nationwide.

Covers 1.46 km of the Second Ring Road, including two roundabouts
Features drought-resistant plants (date palms, sisphium, pennisetum, oleander) adapted to Kuwait's climate
Implemented with soil enhancements and automated irrigation systems
Funded through community donations from Al-Shuwaikh residents
